No, I thought not.

So, where's the logic, I genuinely don't get it?
I enjoy Greyhound racing, I go to watch it, and bet on it....does that count?

Nope, not against fox hunting at all....I'm sure if you look through some of the older threads, I've commented that I am not against it at all.

The problem is, people have such deepset views, and everyone is different, I doubt anyone here would agree on EVERYTHING.
I obviously have no problem with horse racing. It tends to be the National that gets money out of my pocket though. Also dog racing. Spent many a happy evening at Monmore Green before we moved.
I don't like fox hunting, or shooting. To me, that is killing for fun, but I'm sure there are many gun dog owners on here who would disagree.
I'm a vegetarian. I don't believe any animal should be purposefully killed for our benefit, sport or fun.
I would much rather see an animal doing what it was bred for, than have one bred to have a sad short life, and end up dead on my dinner plate.

I said---'more or less certain' I have no idea of any stats---I just know I personally can't watch a 'possible' blood bath.

I gather two died this year----that---for me----is not OK.

I am aware that many horses. dogs etc die in freak accidents every year. The Grand National is not a freak accident----it is an accident waiting to happen.

If thats OK with anyone then thats fine----it isn't OK with me.

Apparently
''• Around 375 horses die on racecourses in Britain each year''.

Dunno about the nationals alone but, then its not just the nationals race horses compete at.

Obviously to some not a waste of life at all so long as they got their entertainment and fun from it all.

I wonder how many animals were murdered today, so you could all have your Sunday roasts?

Don't matter really does it, if you enjoy it.

My point is, many people who cause a fuss over animal issues, are quite happy to have them killed for their benefit. I am glad to hear you are not one of them.
