I have finished putting stuff in our loft with the help of Davie. So all our camping stuff apart from the bits I need for cadets is in the loft. Now I'm being resoundingly thrashed at Monopoly by Davie. This game has been going on for a couple of days now

That's why I dislike Monopoly! It can drag on for far too long.

Fireworks went on sale today in the local shops, and guess what...........bang bang bang tonight Horrible things, but thank goodness Jimmi is not too bad about them unlike our last dogs.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if they cracked right down on fireworks (good grief, they ARE explosives after all), and made a law to forbid them on any night other than 5th November and New Years Eve. The rest of the time, for weddings etc., they could only be used by qualified people who would have to be hired specially for the occasion.

Sometimes, and this sounds awful, I wish that there would be a really bad year for accidents involving fireworks and then perhaps they would turn their attention away from little boys and girls playing conkers (heaven forbid, that is SOOOO dangerous ) and wake up to the fact that fireworks are a menace.

Remember last year wasn't too bad,just hate the way it drags on for a week if it was one night only,I think that would be ok.
