The head Oncologist surgeon phoned this morning - Roxy's tumour was the lowest great and her lymph nodes were clear! She will not need any radiotherapy or chemotherapy!

The surgeon said that they were really pleased with the good margins they managed to get, despite the tumour being in a very difficult area to treat. They said said she's a very lucky and happy girl and is obviously taken very good care of!

We've to keep a close eye on her for any more lumps and bumps, particularly in that area on her leg, and get her straight to the vet to be checked out if any appear, which we will do of course.

We are all absolutely over the moon at this news! And so are the vet school staff who were dealing with Roxy, they are as delighted as us! You could hear it in his voice and he said so, too!

Thank you so much, everyone, for all the very kind thoughts, positive vibes and wishes for myself and Roxy. They have been amazing. You're fantastic. xxx
Yay!! This is the news I've been waiting to hear I am so pleased for you both xx

We had a tiny bit of a blip a couple of hours ago. Noticed that a stitch or two had come loose, about a cm in size.

Luckily for us, my own vets were still open so we were able to nip there right away with her and get it seen to, instead of going up to the vet shool in Glasgow. Obviously we would've done that if my own vets were closed.

He flushed it out, dried it off and then put a couple of fresh stitches in it and will forward on what he has done to the vet school, so as they know.

He said that, apart from this little blip, it's looking nice, is not infected at all and and should be fine by the 28th when she has her stitches removed completely.

It would've taken a few injections to numb the area, he said, so we tried her without it first and she didn't even flinch at all when she was getting new stictches in! What a girl!
