hope he continues to improve Helen. I'm going to start reading this thread from the beginning as Mya has a horrible ear infection, ears all swollen etc and I'm thinking about home cooking for her (and fred too). I'm just unsure of quantanties to give them. I know they are fine with chicken and potatoes and Fred loves green beans etc Mya's not sure about veg but perhaps if it was done like a stew type thing she might eat it.

Eagle Pack is available in the UK and has been for some considerable time.

Do you know who the UK Supplier is?

No SB - not some people, everyone continues to evolve & learn every day of their lives.....

NB - Finally found their website - comes under Golden Eagle.

http://www.goldeneaglepetfoods.com/D...e%20range.html

Looks a good food, unfortunately lowest protein in sensitive range us 26% ( Duck & potato) which is too high for Harvey.

do you use a slow cooker to cook for Harvey? I'm thinking about getting one on way home from the vets so I can put everything in and should be nice and tasty for the dogs

No, it's actually better to quick cook for them - here is a recipe a vet gave me

Chicken breast (or fish)
French long green beans
Any other veg
Potato - we use sweet

Large frying pan or Wok
Low fat spray such as Lo Cal

Cook diced potatoes until tender, drain and leave to one side. Do same with any veg.

Spray Pan or Wok with low fat spray, add diced chicken and stir fry until cooked. Add veg & potato and stir through, put into dishes and serve when cool enough to eat

Tip: If using frozen veg. You can put the lot in the Wok or Pan a few mins before the end

No, neither did I - it would be interesting to check likes of Petplanet or Zooplus to see if they stock it

Had a discussion with the Nutrition Nurse at the Vets today and she has ordered us a small bag of food specifically for skin issues, so we will see how it goes

In meantime tonight his nibs dined on sweet potato, chicken, long green beans & some frozen mixed veg
