So over 2 weeks I have lost 7lbs, I put this into MFP as I only started that a week ago and wanted to put in my start weight, and it says on the gadget thing at the side "lost 3lbs so far" Whaaaaaaaat? Can someone explain?

ETA: doesn't matter, fixed it

First day in over a week I ate over my 1220 calorie limit!

I still like giving myself a day a week to eat the random things I wouldn't eat the rest of the week as it stops cravings etc.

Feel a bit guilty, but then again, still less than 1500 calories so not too fussed, plus it's only one day

Dropped another pound this week, 8lbs lost so far now I really need to increase my exercise though. Just so hard to do when the only exercise I enjoy is one I'm not allowed to do.

Aww yay for you!

I realised that I added the numbers up wrong and I lost 4lb the week before too, so 8lb lost not 7lb, so same as you

What exercise is that?

I actually want to take up running.... but I would be too self conscious/unfit to try that just now

Thanks I seem to lose slowly all the way through, no big drop at the start like some people Ah well, it's coming off and that's the main thing.

Only exercise I like is swimming and doctors orders are no swimming alone because of my seizures. So...that leaves walking which I don't mind or getting my backside down to the gym which I hate. I tried taking up running once, I could barely walk for the next 5 days and I only ran for someting like 2 minutes. My shins hurt soooooo badly.

Couch to 5k is supposed to be a good way of getting into running, considering giving it another try myself, figure it'll do Rupert good too.

well done on the weight losses!

I used to run and its great but dont even try for 2 mins running in the begining. Aim for 30 secs jog, 2 min walk, alternate so you do 20 mins altogether and then you can build up from there (always walk for 5-10 mins first to warm up, and again to cool down at the end). That would be my advice anyway.

well, thats a week now since I found this thread and started, so I'm off to weigh myself, back soon!

2.3lb weight loss for this week!

I was a little lower 'mid week' when I weighed myself to see if I was doing ok, but overall still a loss for the week, so pleased with that.
