We had this with Selkie... she refuses to go while in the vets, and was getting all bunged up. Xrays showed that her blockage (it was an eaten something incident) had moved and was ready to pass.. but would she? Not for them...
Eventually they called me to come and pick her up. They gave me a special collection bag and I took her over to the field, drip in one hand, sample bag in the other... Still she wouldn't go while I was watching! (she never will... never on a lead, and never if you're watching). You can imagine the scene... me pretending to ignore her. lead off, but attached via IV drip into her leg... then dive in and bag under at the right time...
well
She certainly made up for it!
I think even the vets were a bit shocked at the 'sample'... Particularly as it contained two cotton reels!
