Border terrier, my own dog and I was about 13 at the time and startled him in his sleep, so my fault.

Terrier as a child - on my face/mouth - still have scars - it was the very hot summer in 1977 and he was happy sat on my lap then just went for me

Gordon Setter - two boys fighting - I was in the way - certainly not an intentional bite - nice scar on my leg now

A Westie who went for the Staffie I was walking - I was about 16, he got me on the little finger and thigh).

A Utonagan. He was trying to kill another one and as I stood up he got my bicep, I could see my muscle and went into shock. He was a lovely dog, just hated this other dog. I was about 20.

As a child I was bit by my own German Short haired Pointer, but he had been lost while out on a hunting trip and had been living wild for a year when we got a call saying some one had found Oly, so my mother brought him home and after school I ran into the house so happy to see my dog again and put my face right into his which resulted in me getting bit so it was totally my fault.

As a child a Scotty got me on the finger I had put my hand out for her to smell and instead she bit.

I have been bit by a Doberman Pincher, owned by a mate and was a rescue dog, walked into the house and he ran up behind me and got my leg.

Cattle Dog, was a friends dog, that never did any training (eek!) and not enough exercise and it took to trying to herd anyone that came around, so he got me in the leg, not too bad though and my mate got told that things needed to change or they would loose their dog, after that they got on the ball and went to training classes and started walking it! yay!!!

My pittbull got me once but it was when he was 10 weeks old and to be fair his toy was next to my foot and that is where he got me, with all those needle teeth! But really that was just puppy play and was the only time his teeth ever came in contact with any skin (even other animals)
