Morgan's Injury

Arg!! This is frustrating. I have an almost 10 year old Pit/Hound mix and she has been limping for about a week. She is not a dog to show her injuries and never has been. She was hit when she was about 2 by a full size van and didnt cry at all but was in serious shape and almost didnt make it....but anyways, back on track. I have taken her to the vet twice and she finally got an xray today. Everything looked fine. Her bones are beautiful. We thought maybe arthritus but it seems a bit more sore than that. If you push on her shoulder she yelps in pain (well actually if I push, she wouldnt do it for the vet). So she got put on a pain pill to help her out and we just have to wait it out. This time next week we will see where she is at recovery wise and take it from there with a specialist. Its just frustraiting not being able to help her out more

No ideas here, but I do hope you find out soon so the poor girl can get some relief. I know how aweful it feels when they are hurting and you can do nothing about it. Gentle hugs to Morgan.
