A question for all you clever people!!

I suppose this is cheating really
I am doing one of those charity quizzes in aid of the local animal shelter and I need to know what the place is called where kangaroos live (please don't say Australia like my OH)
it's like a pig lives in a sty, etc
Go on...... I will share the book token if I win

Once old enough to leave Mum's pouch, they make nest on the ground, unless it is a tree dwelling species.

That's what my search just told me anyway!

Which Kangaroo, it depends on if it is a Red, Eastern Grey or Western grey, they usually live in large groups called 'mobs'...

In Red Kangaroos the 'mobs' consist of one dominent male, a number of females and juveniles of both sexes...

They all live on the ground, no particular 'nest' to speak of...

hope this helps...

Really interesting animals aren't they? Just read about all the different species, and not one make a nest so to speak. When I said nest in my first post I meant it nest as in settle down not nest as in an actual nest.

Amazing that the faster they hop the less energy they use!

I assumed that it would mean thier home, as in where they live/ what terrain they exist on, rather than than thier home as in a nest Nippy... since none of them make one! lol
