I have to remember, she's a dog not a child.

And that she'll be fine.

Yeah so do I, and she will. There's no probs when she's actually alone. I can see her heading for the kongs as I leave. And as said before I can't hear any sounds from her.

So I know its a matter of the hour before and up to me leaving that's the problem.

What shall I do? Just ignore her? I know I'm not to patronize(sp?) her.

Hi Jeanette I think Luna is picking up the signals from you she can read every tiny nuance of your body language. Try putting breakfast down, if not eated in ten mins remove (she has the kong anyway) then ignore her and go to work..no fuss just go don't look at her or speak. You can give her the garlic when you come home I guess she has her main meal then

i was going to say what mini said maybe she gets stressed out cos you are which is only natural. I am sure she will soon settle back inot her routine. She knows you love her and she knows you are coming back

Aaaawww guys thanks.

Mini: I do put her food down, and then I make the mistake of trying to get her to eat

I will ignore her tomorrow and if she hasn't eaten in 10-15 minutes I'm gonna take it away. And its no problem giving her the garlic at her dinner, I was thinking about that myself

Katy: Yeah I do love her, and I know she loves me back , so I'll just need to get of the guilt trip.

Thanks guys again

Jeanette if it helps any dogs have no concept of time passing. Either you are there or not in their eyes. I bet when you have gone Luna eats her Kong, has a sniff around then goes to sleep to await your return. If I leave Amy now to go shopping she does not even notice I am going but rushes out of her bed to greet me looking surprised when I get back I have even managed to sneak back without her noticing though I don't think her hearing is what it was
