Don't blame you Kazz cancelling not worth it getting stuck or worse.
Stopped snowing here now and turning slushy just hope it doesn't freeze overnight as Gorden is in work tomorrow back in the evening and Mark is back to work and has a lot of back roads to travel.

It is nice Kazz having him home more and he is enjoying it.

Had a call from peter earlier Gill had another one of her episodes and fell over also. He has done his back in trying to get her up. Seems to be roughly every month it happens.

Oh dear Lynn, sorry to hear it, hope she hasn't injured herself badly and poor Peter will need to be careful too, what a state of affairs just before Christmas.

It is still snow here but not as heavily and Amber is now keen to go out again. Dreading it!

Just walked Amber just sleeting. My friend Arran has repeatedly offered to walk Amber but she wont go with him. Steve is the only other person she will go with. Yet she will chase after a ball when Arran throws it. He has said he has to take his girlfriend to the hospital tomorrow and also go to the Post Office so if there is still snow on the ground he will deliver a parcel to the post office for me. Just a useless pair of shoes to go back. I am having difficulty in finding comfortable shoes to wear my feet are swollen so I have ordered some specialist ones, lets hope they will be comfortable.

The snow......
It isn't hugely deep. But deep enough that you can't tell where the path/walkway is so you end up stumbling over the not so smooth grass and you can't where the dips and hollows are. Or piles of dog poo.

Added to this, I have a bit of a balance problem so if I can't see the topography, the lie of the land, it can be it can be tricky. I staggered around like a drunk but, at least, I didn't go base over apex.........

I use ‘ski poles’ to help me keep upright. Can’t afford to have a fall and be out of action

Brenda, my earlier post was meant to ensure you did not stop posting on here. I hope you read it that way.

Lynn, it's such a sad situation with your sister and BiL, and the fiasco over the stairlift is just making things worse, sending lots of good vibes to you and them, wish I could do more.

Griff, sorry about Molly, if she's got it out she'll likely be OK now. As you said, bit of a lesson to Steve. Yes our two have been out in the snow, Lara just came in after lying on the front lawn, under neath and all her tail covered in snow

Got them out for a quick walk this afternoon. With Casey it seems to be a case of brain says 'yes' but legs say 'no' he has to stop often and then just looks at me with a 'what's happening' look. We go to the vet on Thu. for a ultra-sound heart check, he hasn't had one for a year.
