My one eyed senior bulldog

we got her from a rescue a few months after she lost on eye. She continues to misjudge depth perception. Any ideas?

Time, she will adjust my cat has had one eye removed and has lost the sight in the other eye, he does still bump into things at times but he amazes me, he jumps over the dog gate and wanders all around the house and garden. I obviously keep an eye on him when he's outside because I certainly don't want him going over the fence.

Your dog will definitely adapt soon! However, always keep an eye and be careful with your dog!

One thing that can help until he gets the lay of the land is to cushion sharp edges. The foam lagging for pipes is good to use on squared off edges and helps to cushion any blows.

Once he fully adapts, provided you keep the furniture in the same place, you won't need it any more because he'll be able to find his way around without incident.
