Can anyone help me?!

Anyone have any idea what breeds might be in my dog?

He is super gentle, about 1.5 years old, 40 lbs, runs like the damn wind (seriously, fastest I've ever seen).

We just rescued him two weeks ago, if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks!

I agree 100% about lab, however the structure of it's face kinda look like American bully or even pit bull terrier. My brother has an all white Staffordshire pit that is 10 and keeps up with my lab/Shepherd/chow mix. Just my opinion.

This is a lab pit mix. I say they look very similar. Both dog breeds are awesome to have. Espically with kids regardless of what media has said about pits and bully breeds. I grew up with a pit and German Shepherd; both dogs were awesome! Actually, they would growl at my parents if they yelled at us. However, both dogs, if we were approached by a stranger in any other manner than nice they went into defense mode. My lab/Aussie/chow is also like that with me and my kids. She also has a problem with male adults. Only males though. She's never bit anyone but her bark is certainly intimidating. With her being all black and a 60lb dog.... People don't ever come near my house.

If you love the dog and he loves you the exact breed or mix is surely irrelevant?

I have a lab lurcher who bears a resemblance (except mine is black), so I'll back those guesses.

If you ever want to know for certain, I've heard good things about Embark DNA testing.

Not sure my guess Pit/Lab mix! He looks pretty muscular threw his chest and legs. His dainty paws also make me think Pit. If he is its a great mix you'll have a fun, loyal, loving, sweet boy that will definitely keep you busy. Ask your vet mine is great at educated guesses!

Hi mac, I have faced the same issue a few months ago. And I found full information of the dog with the help of pet id tag. So can you check your dog has any id tag or not?
