Need Help Picking Name For New Goberian

Hi,
We are adopting an 8 year old Goberian (Siberia Husky and Golden Retreiver mix) and are having a hard time finding a good name for her.

We have had 2 Goldens named Leinie (red like the dog plus we like it) and now Wallie (actually walnuts because we have a walnut tree and my husbands nickname is Pauly Walnuts).

I would like a very hardy name like Alaska, Aspen, Skylar etc My husband and daughter do not like those exact names. She is mostly light brownish reddish with a white face and one blue eye and one brown eye.

I was trying to come up with something about her eyes, something from nature, celestial or just something really pretty, yet hardy and not girly.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanx!

I don't have a photo of her, but the 3rd photo on this site looks a lot like her, except her face is whiter and her left eye is brown and right eye is blue.

Have you thought of the name "Zoloto" it combines both her origins in that the name is Russian (Siberian) for Gold.

What is her name now? Personally, I'd try to keep her original name or go for a name as near to her own as possible as she's likely to know and respond to it. It may just add to her security in a strange place

I do not know her original name. She was found as a stray and she does not respond to the name she was given at the pound. They named her Gammy. I don't like it and don't think it fits. Anyone have a strong unique name for your dog? Or one you've heard of? One that would fit a female but not a girly name.
