Hi Sarah, Jake has now met both agents and both have taken him on in their books. They have also told me to sign him up with some other reputable agents as they all get offered different jobs though I don't think we shall be doing it that seriously
For his interview/audition type thing they filmed him in a studio he had to do what we used to call distance control (sounds like a driving test) in his obedience classes. Basically he had to stand and stay, sit and stay, down and stay, with me stood about 8 feet away from him and I could only use hand signals and not words, as if it was for TV you'd have to keep quiet. They also looked at his heelwork, give left paw, right paw etc etc. They watched a video of him doing agility and flyball. One of the agents also gave me a sheet with different tricks to teach him so that should be fun!
Apparently they think he has a good chance of getting work as he's good with everyone from babies to old people, other dogs etc and they think he's very well trained for his age(hmmmmmm I wonder?) They both had a lack of JRT's on there books who are well enough behaved so that should go in his favour
Hugs to you baby R, Richard and Dibley xxxxx
