Cathy, female Pointer x Collie ?Lurcher, DOB 2011 – Godstone, Surrey
Cathy, Pointer x Collie ?Lurcher, DOB 2011 – Godstone, Surrey
Homing Requirements: Cathy needs a dog experienced family who can support her energy on a lead and control dog encounters as she is keen. Cathy needs a secure garden with 6' panel fencing and good door and gate security. Cathy can suffer from car sickness at this stage but may settle once familiar with regular journeys.
Her Story: Cathy was surrendered into the pound in May 2013. Cathy came to us at the end of August and is settling in the kennel environment which is challenging for her. Cathy wants to meet and enjoys contact with other dogs. Cathy is neutered, chipped and fully vax'd. Cathy is in kennels near Gatwick, West Sussex.
Advert: Cathy has a keen friendly energy. Her socialisation needs further work but her foundation is strong. Cathy is clean in her kennel and welcomes strangers and all with affection. Cathy isn't ready to be off lead as her enthusiasm is a little too full on unless her encounters are controlled; she welcomes meeting dogs and doesn't like to held back as she would love a few run arounds!
Cathy is a crossbreed, possibly with Pointer x Collie Lurcher genes. She is visually astute and intelligent. Her instincts are good and she is learning in situ as best as our circumstances allow but she needs a worthy home to bring her through and offer her the foundation she so deserves.
Please note that this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found.
