Garden before and after (pic heavy)

I have so far spent two days working on the garden with the help of two friends, one mowing and one strimming. Today I concentrated my efforts of tidying up the patio.

Before

After

Before

After with Scooby

Before

After again with Scooby

And today's effort, the back patio!

I also found a path!

Amazing difference. I am also a bit envious of all the lovely space you have.

Well done! I know how backbreaking all that is! You must be knackered!

Any plans for it, or are you just leaving it as lawn?

Blooming 'eck who would have thought that little patio area would have come up as clean as that You've got a great garden, you should extend all that patio area and really make something of it..... if you've got any energy left of course!!! Loving your outlook there over all the fields, gorgeous.

Wow it looks stunning!

Those pressure hoses are brilliant for leaning up paths - even a normal hose on really fast can do the job too

Thanks all! It's been a lot of hard work but definately worth it.

I'm currently planning on leaving the main part of the garden as lawn and turning the area where there were loads of stinging nettles in to a veg patch, rabbits permitting.

I need to fence from my house to the field infront in order to secure the garden. I share the drive with a fellow staff member who lives next door and I don't want her mobbed everytime she comes out of her house! I'm also hoping to get chickens as well as setting up my agility equipment on the flat part of the lawn. I have an orchard down the corner and the pig paddock backs on to it so I can chuck them my scraps which is really nice.

I had no idea the patio was that colour! I'm really chuffed with it though. The pressure washer really made the difference, next task for that piece of equipment is the car
