Try to keep your energy levels steady by eating slow release foods - low GI as Lucky Star said. Start the day with prorridge (honest! - I do nearly every day) and it sets you off on the right track. Eat nuts and seeds for nibbles, have peanut butter on mixed grain or even better seedy bread for lunch, bits of fruit, lots of peas, beans, pasta, little bit of new potatoes, brown rice, basmati rice, leave out white bread, sugar, processed food. Lots of water, reduce your alcohol intake.
Try Berocca multivitamins if you feel really low
Good luck, take care - try and help your body support you through this difficult time.
