Help needed to get to vets appointment

Cherry still has the problem with her nose being runny and sneezing and coughing.

She had a biopsy taken but they couldn't find any tumour cells but the vet says she needs a CT scan which they only have at the specialist vets in Fakenham once a fortnight. We are in the middle of our 2 week holiday and unfortunately the scanner was there last Monday. I have provisionally booked her in for next Monday 4th July but neither myself nor my husband Jamie will be able to get the time off to take her there. I work in a contact centre where it is very difficult to get time off this time of year and my husband has an interview that day.

Are there any pet transport services you can hire to get Cherry to the vets? I would be able to pick her up in the afternoon as I finish work at 1.30pm.

Anyone got any ideas as I'm getting a bit stressed about it. I could book her in the next available date on the 18th July as I'm off again then but I don't want to wait till then. She doesn't seem to be in any pain but 3 weeks is a long time to carry on as she is.

Would she be comfortable being left there overnight, if they have the facilities for this? Not done it with dogs but with my small furries sometimes I've dropped them in the evening before, e.g. when the operation's been scheduled early morning and I've had to rely on lifts from people who would be at work that morning.

I see these at my vets all the time, Why don't you ask the vets if they use a company like this or can recommend one.

If you look for local dog walkers in your area some of them will probably offer a pet taxi service where they will take you dog to the vets for you.

Ni-I asked then that and they need someone to be with her at the consultation that morning.
