Dog vomiting occasionally this week
My dog has been sick a few times, but i'm not quite sure what's going on. Occasionally he does throw up after a meal & is then fine so i didn't worry initially. His meals is normally just fish4dogs kibble with splash of water, his poos have been fine throughout and hasn't shown any signs of feeling off colour.
Friday or Saturday PM - fews hrs post dinner meal- undigested kibble sick
Sunday- hour post breakfast (9ish) + again midday more kibble sick, then stole friends dogs leftovers 5 mins later which he did throw up a small amount of 2hrs later (after drive home).
Sunday PM- hungry so gave rice & tinned sardines- all ok
Mornday AM- rice & sardines- all ok
Monday PM - Natures diet - all ok
Tuesay AM - Natures diet - all ok, lunchtime gave bit of bread crust and while later dentastix type chew (has both normally & fine), seemed ok but few hours later threw up brown puddle of bits of chew & some rice
Tuesday PM - Natures diet - all ok
Wednesday AM - Natures diet & so far all fine (shall avoid extras although has been ok with odd winalot shape biscuit as treats)
My thought initially was that the new bag of dry food although usual brand kibble's larger than normal, so perhaps formula had changed (i've since checked with company & it hasn't) or maybe larger kibble just not digesting well as he never chews it. Although i think we may of fed a few days from new bag before he was being sick, have to check delivery date.
We were due to worm him so not sure if that maybe cause, should we worm him now or hold off until he's been ok for few more days?
I think i'll stick on Natures diet for few days longer before gradually trying to re-introduce kibble, would soaking it so its soft help make it more digestible?
