Should I buy Junior food?

I'm feeding Toby CSJ puppy food at the moment and have been advised to switch to adult at 6 months. Is this a bit early for adult food?

I wondered whether to mix the puppy and adult as a sort of junior food? Or is it worth switching food to a brand that does a junior range?

It is less important for smaller dogs. Unless Cockers are more prone to joint problems than similar sized dogs, it may not make much difference.

There's another thread similar to this. I think it is OK to change to adult at 6 months. I changed at 8 months as advised by my vet.

I just switched my 6 month old pup to adult a few weeks ago. I have always switched them over at 6 months.

6-8 months is fine, and to be honest you could change from puppy to adult food - it doesn't seem to make much difference in my experience
