Grass.

Hi everyone,

Dixie and I were staying at my parents house for a few days and their garden is quite a lot larger than mine, Dix was having a whale of a time. They have a lovely border with some nice grasses planted in them. The grasses have long spiky leaves and Dixie just keeps on eating them...he runs round and round and snaps at each grass plant in turn. The only problem is they make him retch and be sick! Any ideas why he is doing this? Anyone else seen it?

Most dogs eat grass...

Some do it, cos their tummies need a bit of regulation... They sometimes do it, if they want to throw up...

Archie seems to love eating not just grass, but everything

he walks past each plant in the garden and snaps at each, but doesn't swallow much and isn't sick. He loves to crunch up dead leaves, and has developed a worrying habit of nibbling the gravel on the path A couple of times I have had to pry his mouth open to get the stones out, as I'm really worried he might swallow them.

Does anyone know what might happen if he swallows a little pebble?
