I went back to Essex today to spend time with my family and help dad celebrate Fathers Day
It was also the day I was booked to trim my sister Donna's sweet little Cocker Spaniel Daisy. They call her Crazy because she's a right little monster, charges around and bounces about, plus she keeps escaping as soon as the front door is open I had to chase her quarter of a mile this afternoon as she escaped just as we were off to my other sister Coral's for lunch. Donna had just got her baby into the car so she couldn't go after her, I just ran and ran, terrified she would get run over. I managed to catch her when she stopped for a sniff and a tiddle, it was only then that I couldn't breath and it all caught up with me, an old man who had been watching me running toward her and tried to stop her said he wishes he could run as fast as me Donna was not happy with her and threatened to send her back with me, she won't do it though cos she's so good with the kids and a real little sweetie, just very naughty. Besides,I don't want another escapee do I?
Here are a few photos of her before I trimmed her up, look at her little fluffy carpet slippers , the little girl is Jasmine, (my niece), who absolutely adores her, Daisy sleeps on her bed at night. Please excuse the walls, Donna has just moved in and is in the process of extending.
These photos are of Daisy after she was trimmed, before she had her bath and before she escaped. Isn't she just so pretty
She is a beauty Made me short of breath visualising you running after her Hope you caught your breath by now
Oh my god, I am quite fit and don't get out of breath when I'm running in the ring but, as I was calling her name, and in a blind panic, I just couldn't breath when I had finally caught her. It was almost like deja vue from here the other week
I'm fine now though thanks, just hoping Daisy has made up with her mummy so she doesn't have to come and stay at Auntie Sheree's
