Rosacea

In the last 3 weeks I have developed Rosacea, red cheeks and nose, have given up the (really enjoyed) glass of red wine in the evening, and spicy foods. Doc wants to treat with long term antibiotics, but I would prefer not, herbal or other treatments I would like to try first. Was just wondering if anyone else has had this condition, and how they treated it. Some days its not bad but other days I look like I have sun burn! thank god for make up!

Poor you and you probably notice it more than other people do.
My Neice had it when she was younger, before herbal remedies became so popular, her only cure was antibiotics.
Hope you find a remedy soon, good luck.

My beautician specialises in that. In fact she just won Pevonia beautician of the year after she treated a lady who had had rosacea for years, it's now all gone!
Perhaps see if there is a beautician in your area who offers facials esp for that condition. My one has hers listed on her general list. She uses Pevonia products, which are not cheap but the facials themselves are no more expensive. If you google them you may be able to find one in your area?
