What does your dog know?

We haven't done this for yonks so thought we'd run it again...

What does your dog know?

Rocky can:

Open doors (not round handles tho!)
'escape' from partitions I set up in the garden! (norty boy!)
turn on the (fake) waterworks when he wants something!
distinguish between his, kong, rope, ball and rings when playing fetch (ie Fetch Kong Rocky etc)

He also knows:

sit
stay
lie down
roll over
come here (most of the time)
look at me
stand up
go inside (go in when we're out in the garden - works half of the time!)
'back'
stop (when crossing roads or to just get him to 'stop still' when hes walking ahead)
clear (when ok to cross road)
FOODEES!

TREATEES!

lol, so what do your dogs know??

Saffy knows:

Sit
Stay
Come
Lie Down
Speak
Come with Me
Find it (when you have hidden a treat or toy)
Kisses
Paw

She also knows how to sit on your lap whilst you on the computer - and hit your arm away whenever you are going to use the mouse

How to p*ss me off

Luca, Shaan and Storm know all the usual obedience commands. Luca knows 'find it' and 'catch'. Shaan knows 'catch' and Storm, who's not the sharpest tool in the box can open doors when she feels like it

Rocky does that!! It's like hes saying "forget that poxy computer and come and play with me!"

Star knows:

sit
stay
down
and all the other commands

She can pick out her ball, squeaky toy or kong, whatever you ask her to get she will.

her favourite trick is unscrewing the lids from bottles

Sal and Tess both know; Gentlely Sit,Stay,Here, back up (when you want to get through the door with out them) In, Out, Down, Behave (which is stand in showring I had to come up with different word) Off, No, Okay (when they are allowed to go off the lead) Pack it in (when they are playing up) Over (Sal mostly to do with the agility) Wait (hold on I'm coming) Close (when walking off lead) Here you are (when treats being given out) Tara then (when I go the other way its there last chance ) This way (when I want them to go a different way) Leave (both know this)
Sal also knows Left and right (mostly for agility) Steady (again agility)

They can both distinguish between the names for toys too; Ball, Kong, Ragger, Ring,

They also know when the cats are about to get something nice.
They can both hear a packet being opened at 40 yards or more away.
They ignore if I don't call there name. I can call Tess and Sal stays put same with Sal she stays put if I say Tess. But say come on or girls and they both come.

Saffy just attacks bottles on sight; whether they are empty or not

I have to make sure I take the lids off before I give her plastic bottles cause she loves to chew the lids.

Oh yes my two may know that but some days they ignore them all and rely purely on charm to get through the day without me killing them.

Saffy can do my housework! Max cleans the bathroom sometimes when hes forced too!
