Look what garden fertiliser can do

This aluminium ladder was in the garage all winter hanging horizontally on two brackets, I had placed a packet of plant fertiliser on the edge of it as I was short of shelf space.

It was cardboard packet containing dry granules but over the winter due to dampness the granules had partly dissolved, there was no water dripping from the roof, the roof is watertight, I dread to think what this could do to your skin if you don't wear gloves.





Luckily I managed to save most of the ladder, I sawed off 2 feet from the bottom section.

Never mind Denis if you stand in the fertiliser next year maybe you wont need that 2ft anyway's.

Just thought didn't a certain Irish paramilatry group use fertiliser in there bomb's.
You were lucky the house never blew up.
