My sister contacted them before over a problem so they will only deal with her. But its out of warranty but apparantly its been extended to three years because of the high failure rate of launch consoles, so hopefully I will be ok. Just stick with the wii and ps3 for a while.

When did you get yours?, if you dont mind my asking

My sons has gone back for repair 3 times now under warranty and they don't even guarantee their repair. It's now out of warranty so if it goes again he has to buy a new one.
UPS collect them and the driver reckons he collects hundreds each week.

I have had a check and it seems if it was a launch console it will be covered, (3yrs) as microsoft has admited the lauch ones were substandard.

Just keep a close eye, I thought I had fluked it but sadly not. It is costing ms millions, but its their own fault for rushing it out.

I will have ups pick it up within five days, and then should have it back within three weeks. The type of problem is covered by a three year warranty so luckily I was still well inside that.
