Howling, Northern Inuit Dogs, Does Your Dog Howl??

those are great lol...

well Takoda roars alot if that counts and Keena just back chats mostly!

I do have a howling video though which if I could shorten would be great to put on once I figured out how.

We left the video camera on, on the phone, when we went out once and after 20mins Keena was howling away and repeated this every 15 mins there after. Then Takoda joined in as he didn't know what else to do. He especially sounds very sweet when he howls where as Keena's was a bit more distraught - like get back home now!

Thanks for the great comments. That shall be our mission I think, next time they start howling we will have to take video footage rather than still pics. It really is an awesome sound

Inca has sort of howled twice in her life.
She very rarely barks, but what she does do is talk... all the time.
When I come downstairs in the morning she says good morning and whenever we come home she does her welcome chat.
If we didn't have Tonto, who is gobby, no one would know we had dogs.

brilliant pics. ours usually howl in a morning when they first go out in a morning and Sacha will howl when we first get to training before we get her out of the van
