Age for first season, is this a problem.

My Inca is 18 months old and hasn't had her first season yet. I've never had a girl go later than 11 months for their first, she's quite a tiny little girl and wondered if this is why her first season is late.

Any suggestions please?

It's strange because one of her sisters from the same litter also hasn't had a season yet......maybe it's something in the dads line? Her sister Misty is a lot bigger than Inca too.

Abby is just coming up 18 months and not yet had a season. I spoke to the vet the other day, and she said not to worry, as it can be anything up to two years. She also said Abby may have had a dry season, where there is no discharge (this is something I have never heard of before, but who am I to contradict a vet?)

my 2 are 1 year old on 23 November, one of their sisters has had her first season, but my 2 are holding onto it!!!
I think it is all question of them growing up. For instance when they are teething their ears don't go up, once they have finished teething their ears go up. So obviously their norty little bodies are busy doing something elsewhere at the moment!!

She's definitely not had a season, her vulva is still very tiny, once they have had their first it stays slightly bigger than before, so I know she's not had one yet.
