Sony LCD TV's

Well OH has got it into his head that he wants a Sony LCD TV...........BUT this is a big but he wants a massive 46", the one he has been looking at is the KDL-46S2010, Sony Bravia.

You know the saying 'boys and their toys' well I want to try and change his mind on the size of the TV, I personally think 46" is way too big for our living room.

So has anybody got a Sony LCD Bravia and what do they think of them??

Havn't got a sony but have got a 32" LCD TV. And its just slightly too small now. I would like to have the next size up.

You may be suprised but when its in the shop they look massive, not so big when you get them home though and all the side bits are taken off etc. If your lounge is small i'd recommend a 32" its a good size!

I have a 42" Hitachi Plasma wall mounted and it's far less intrusive in the room than the old 28" free standing used to be. Also it is in a better position in the room, where it can be viewed easily from all angles. Where as the 28" used to be in a corner and wasn't quite so easy to view from all angles. Also plasma screens attract less dust. Oh and it's not a boys toy, I chose it.

This is what he keeps telling me, wall mounted it's not even taking up any space in the room!

It's true, i was going to post a picture but photobucket is doing maintenance at the mo so i can't just now. Obviously I don't know how big your room is but wall mounting is a good option because you can hide all the cables and it looks very neat + less dusting. We had a stand temporarily but that was useless it looked too big and I kept thinking it was going to fall over.

There you go photobucket is working again.
Even with the bracket it's only 5" deep.
