We would love Sky but can't get a signal where we live, we even tried the extending pole for the dish to go on and still no signal

Had a letter from Sky this morning about their broadband, looks good BUT its NOT available in my area at the moment.
It will be soon but that could mean anything.

Check out availability first.

Thanks for the tip. How do you find out if it's in your area?

its only available to Sky customers.

check their web site. there should be a link to find out about the areas its available.

you should get a letter letting you know( Sky customers only), or ring them, or check on Sky Active.

Yes that's what I was just thinking. If you come off BT Broadband and join Sky Broadband, does this mean you can't use your BT e-mail address do you think?

Top Tip: If it's 'free' or nearly so, it won't yet be available in your area. I had the same with 'Talk Talk' who provide my telephone service. They advertise 'free' broadband for their customers but surprise, surprise it's not available in my area. They can however (along with Sky) supply me with broadband for 18 quid a month. I think the 'free' service is only available to Sky's manging director and his Aunt Phoebe

Yes it does Katrina342 since you will not be a customer of BT they will not allow you use of their E Mail server.

The only way to keep a e mail address is to sign up for a free one like G Mail or MSN
