To those who wait for me at the gate

To I have read the posts here and they always bring tears to my eyes. This is for my three Staffs; Who have gone on ahead of me; Sam, Gypsy and Gyp;

RIP gang and listen up I will be calling and whisling for each and everyone of you. So "Oi, pack it in and leave that damned rabbit alone."

We have a secret you and I,
That no one else shall know,
For who, but I can see you lie,
Each night, in Fireglow,
And who but I can reach my hand,
Before I go to bed,
And feel the living warmth of you,
And touch your silken head,
And only I, walk woodland paths,
And see, ahead of me,
Your frame racing with the wind
So young again and free,
And only I can see you swim,
In every brook I pass...
And, when I call, no one but I,
Can see the bending grass.

Karen who shares her life with Staffords, and white and ginger cats.

:smt022 :smt022:smt022....that is so sad Kazz ...

I once lived in a house that had many dog graves and this was on one of them.. I just remembered it so am posting it to lift the spirit after reading Kazz's sad poem....

A Doggy prayer

A master who is firm and kind,
And understands a doggy mind,
A 'walkie' and a meal each day,
Thats all I ask for when I pray..
