meh... a rant because i feel like pap.

I have had another shock to the system today. Edward (the brother of another recently departed rat - Tubbs) had to go in to have a tumour removed. That done - i am happy as he's fine - really took it well - and he's a lot better - but it cost me £125 and we have to take a chinchilla to the vet tomorrow with a bad tail - so that's likely to be another £40 - £50. I just don't know where the money's coming from.

I have spent around £600 on the rats in the last 5 months... possibly more - and about £300 of that hads been in the last month

I think we may have to cancel christmas. I still managed to get lots of people cards and little gifts though

xx

yeah - sorta makes it all worthwhile., I don't regret paying for it at all lol - i would pay ten times that amount ot save his life but it came as a shock - I was expecting £60 or so... and I really can't afford bills like this right now

Sorry to hear that more things are going wrong for you i haven't posted to say sorry before because i really don't know what to put to make you feel better.
I'm glad Edward came through ok.
Don't worry about christmas i'm sure no one will mind. it's not big presents that are important

I hope 2006 is a better year for you.

yes they can - it's likely that the chinchilla has lymphoma so could well cost us a few hundred in the running. But that's not what I'm worried baout - lymphoma can kill - and he's karl's baby

In reference to your rats you will probably find the whole litter has cancer at some point in their lives. Making sure they dont interbreed might help future litters but its probably too far back down the line anyway.
