Well we are back from the vets........and Bandit is really in the wars.... I will start at the top........he has a perforated ear drum(which the vet says will heal itself in time, and wants to deal with that before he treats the other... )....... he also has hip dysplasia in both hips the right being worse... and he has Spondylitis in his spine( shows up 2 lots of shadows) ....

The vet needs to treat his ear first, then he is going to put him on steriods for the "Arthritis" for a short period ............. then its just keep an eye on him ....controlled exersice..and the vet surgested he goes swimming......(when his ear is better)!!!!!! Its al a bit of a shock at the mo...so excuse me if I am not making sence..........

Thanks evertone for listening.........talk later!

I know exactly what you are going through, so you are in my thoughts.
I would deffinately try out swimming - a friend who's dog had spondylitis in his spine recommended it to me, and now I have started taking Teagan.

I'm sure Bandit will be fine.
I think I cried for the first few days, but once Bandit is stable, you will both be able to enjoy life like normal
