New member with a german spitz and just rescued a oap sheltie

id like some advice if possible weve just rescued an rspca older sheltie and hes got kennel cough on anti biotics we have a german spitz age 4 but hes staying at my parents the sheltieis on antibiotics for 4 weeks is there anything else effective to help him get over it many thanks

The stress won't have helped him, lots of love and security and he should get over it.

Some honey to help sooth his throut won't do any harm. I would give child cough medcine but with him being on antibiotics I would just give the honey.

When my two got KC, I treated it with honey and olbas oil. I gave them honey throughout the day, and I put olbas oil on the radiators in the house so there was an aroma of it throughout, and it cleared up in a few days.
