Mackie, Staffie, DOB 10
Mackie, Staffie, DOB 10
Homing Requirements: Mackie needs a stable family ideally with one other dog or plenty of dog companionship and ‘at home’ humans. He may well prove cat friendly as his intentions are only ever to lick! Mackie has special needs referring to his poor vision. This needs sensitive management e.g. an environment void of sharp corners and use of voice and training linked to your voice and significant noises. Mackie was emaciated and his system is just coming right with good quality food which we wish for him to continue.
His Story: Mackie was found stray in a very poor state. It has taken several vet reviews to get him healthy. Mackie is now neutered and now getting vaccinations. His right eye has a squint and he has poor vision in his left. Mackie is now in foster with 2 smaller dogs and just loving their companionship in Whitehill, Hants.
Advert: Mackie is a dear, dear soul who wins the heart of EVERYONE he meets. He is gentle and has an exceptionally diffident temperament. In fact Mackie presents as a puppy with such regard of his people and other companions. Mackie walks well on the lead with direction coming from the voice and his canine companions. On meeting you, you wouldn't immediately pick up he was visually challenged, just a little un-tuned into a new encounter. Mackie is house-trained and travels well in a car.
Mackie is the true Staffie; affectionate, sincere and oh so wanting to please his buddy friends, oh and everyone is Mackie’s buddy! He makes friends easily and is well received. He needs the VERY best of food, care and companionship. Mackie came to us for a special reason; so we could deliver everything he could have ever wished for ... could that be YOU?!
