Homing Requirements: Henderson needs stability and commitment from his family. He may also need further work on housetraining so easy access to a secure garden and a positive attitude to support his skill development is required. Henderson could live with another dog and dog savvy children.

His Story: Henderson has been passed around and each home has failed to realize that he needs a family to support him and offer him time. His last home lasted a few days as effectively he was abandoned with a disabled lady and her disabled son. He spent those bewildering days in the back garden though slept in the kitchen. A family heard his plight and took him in and delivered him to us as an emergency. We have neutered and chipped him so far.

Advert: We are busy looking out for a home for Henderson to meet his needs which are pretty simple. He is a whippet cross with very delicate features and the same sensitive nature. Just 16" to the shoulder, slender build and good health. Henderson is around 18 months old. He is intelligent and charms all he meets. Apparently he wasn't housetrained overnight when he slept in the kitchen in his transitory home but he was no doubt very nervous and needed company to reassure him he'd done no wrong in being left in the garden all day.

Henderson is easy to walk on a lead and mixes with dogs outside very well. He stayed with a family his last night with their two dogs and was excited but settling well. Henderson is young and all he needs is commitment and he has already shown himself to be adaptable and so loving!
