We also have it here in Pembrokeshire ... a couple cases in the last few months at my local vets

Look in news about half way down 9th april, was talking to Billa last week and they had another in after this pup that did not make it

Im in staffordshire but regularly take the dogs to derbu=yshire as its where im from and family live. I nearly lost sadie to lungworm last year. Its more common than you think.

There is a lot of it in the South coast where I am.

Any dog that eats snails or slugs or licks stuff in the garden, eats grass, is at risk... also those that catch frogs - according to a vet in Chichester, frogs can carry it too.

Mine has been around slugs snails and eats grass etc but has no symptoms... Maybe a sound immune system is the best defence.
