Anyone live in Harwich

We are going on holiday week on thursday and are staying over night in Harwich as we going on Ferry, last year we ate at a lovely Thai restaurant but when we return it will be on a monday and they are closed, we couldnt find really anywhere else to eat and wondered if anyone knew of anywhere we could walk to or taxi to.
