broken leg?

Im a bit worried about five minuets ago ive heard my dog yelp in the garden she was playing with the other dog! so ive gone down to see and shes got a lump at the bottom of her leg,

she can put wait on it and shes running around fine but i cant strech it out as she crys, does anyone if she might of fractured it - i was going to go to the vets but she running about fine on it

Take her to the vet anyway, being able to bear weight on it doesn't mean that it's not fractured. It could be anything... I hope shes alright

I would take her anyway just to be on the safe side, I think that dogs bear pain in a different way than us, so it may well be broken or dislocated.

ok thanks guys im going now - emergency! as they were closed (so that will cost me lol) but ill be worried otherwise, she is insured though thankfully!

hi thanks guys just come back now -Cookies leg is not broken wayheh!!
it didnt look as swollen in the vets room and she went running in trying to jump on the table!

i feel i bit stupid but he thinks its just bruised he said if its not right in a couple of days to bring her in again and they will xray it to see if anything comes up , but she was letting him strech her leg with no problem! he said i probaly made that much of a fuss of her she was playing on it a bit to get more attention!!

i stopped in macdonalds on the way back and bought her a hamburger and now shes lying on the sofa sleeping bless!

i feel really stupid now thanks everyone though i do feel so much better knowing shes fine!
