Kibo biopsy

Good morning all.

I know that Trouble is going through much worse this morning, but please can you keep Kibo in your thoughts this morning.

He's going in for a biopsy this morning as he has a cluster of 'very unusual' lumps underneath the skin on the lower part of his throat.

Due to an incident at the back end of last year he is now terrified when at the vet, so, the vet is going to sedate him outside in the car park while he's with me.

They're going to take some tissue from the affected area and also some from his thigh as a comparison.

At the moment he's in a mard because he's wondering where his breakfast his.....

Good luck. What a thoughtful vet you have. I hope they are benign lumps.

I picked him up at about 3 this afternoon and although he is woozy as hell and keeps face planting the floor, he will not give in to sleep. He's had a bite to eat and I'm hoping that he'll finally give in and settle down.

Full marks to the vet who decided not to cage him after his op and put him in a quiet room all by himself to recover so as not to stress him further.

Now it's just a waiting game to get the results back from the lab....
