Tara's gone to her new forever home

So last night I spent cuddling her, this morning she got her cuddles and apparently (I was at work) slept all morning in behind OH or on his chest on the chair. She looked up only when the lady from SSBTR came to get her.

Linda was delighted with her and said that she was all grown up now, she text me later to say that Tara, as soon as the lead was handed over, lay down at her new Dad's feet and looked really chuffed with herself. The guy was calm as you like but brooking no nonsense which is good. They have a two week trial then SSBTR will check them to make sure all is good.

Got home and missed being leapt on in a hello, although it was nice to sit down and not get a VERY happy dog trying to sit on your shoulders! Already missing having her leaping around like a lunatic and I think Dougal isn't quite sure what to do with himself when he's outside...he keeps going out then coming back in looking a little confused. So we're making loads of fuss of him and playing with him.

Good luck my wee lass, hope this forever home works out really well for you.

Staffy Rescue said they will keep me up to date once the trial period is over. I think she'll be fine, she's so loving that her new parents won't be able to help themselves.

Aww, that's good news, although it must be such a wrench for you when they go.

Aw it must be so hard for you getting attached to Tara and then suddenly she's gone. But well done for all the good work you've done with her and how fab that she has found a good home.
Everything crossed that she settles in with her new mum and dad and it proves to be a forever home
