Heard a Cuckoo this morning.
Had to walk to local shop this morning,as Son has borrowed my car.Cut across the field walked up the little lane beside the Nature Reserve and saw 2 Fallow Deer.
Coming home same way heard the Cuckoo first time this year,and saw some lovely little white Butterfiles with orange tips to their wings.
Thought I would share as it made me smile.

I heard our first a few wks ago now & he`s at the stage now where he never shuts up 
Cuckooing all morning, quite in the afternoon then at it again in all afternoon 
Did`nt know you don`t have them in OZ S/B
