Danny Bear Vs Coco the Cat

Oh dear dear dear

Had a distressing event at the weekend whilst at my mums

Young Daniel was norty

We'd been out for a nice long walk and I was just taking him back up my mum's drive when the next door neighbours cat , Coco, decided to leg it past him

Danny bolted after it, pulled me on my ass, snapped the metal clasp on his lead in half and got hold of the cat

Luckily I literally bounced back up off of the ground, scrambled next door and grabbed him by his harness and lifted him to my head height - god knows where I got my strength because the tubber weighs about 4 stone!

Twasn't a nice site, he shook the cat like a ragdoll but to my amazement - there wasn't a mark on the cat!!! Soooooooooooooo so lucky little moggy! It scarpered as soon as I got hold of Dan.

Danny wasn't quite as unscathed as Coco though. In the fumpus, he'd managed to break 2 of his back claws just down to the quick - bled a bit, got the side of his eye knicked with a claw and I pulled 2 kitty claw shells out of his mush. He was neither up now down about the whole episode thankfully!

Cleaned him up, good as new. Learned 2 things:

1. Danny isn't as good with cats as I first thought
2. Cats really do have 9 lives!!

I know - kitty was thoroughly checked over by her mum and she's 100% ok
Could have been sooooooo much worse. I think I'll get a heavy duty clip for Danny, made for elephants or something

Danny's a norty man, still gets cuddles though, can't stay mad with him for long. I guess he's only doing what norty dogs do. Damn lead!! I think I'll sue the company for heart failure, potentially soiled undercrackers and a bruised botty.
