Research into dog attacks?
Following a number of recent news stories I am disappointed to see that as always there seems to be no follow up on essential details regarding dog attacks? (the circumstances involved, the history of the dog, Information on the people involved, welfare concerns etc.)
Better education and better understanding of the various factors of why dog attacks occur are surely the key to the prevention of future attacks and would help provide better legislation that actually worked to keep both people and dogs safe?
Looking on-line I found that there is very little research being done in the UK but I did see that a Behaviourist called Debbie Connolly has organised a survey and a petition which I thought would be good to share with Dogsey members:

Although a very serious and important issue I am aware that this subject can be very emotive. Therefore, at least for my part, this post is for information only. Many Thanks
