Marley And Me...marks out of 10...

Couldn't put the poll with the discussion thread on Marley and me so have put the poll here...how many marks out of 10 would you give the book Marley And Me.

I gave it a 7. i quite enjoyed it, i do agree there was alot of family stuff in it. I feel it was supposed to be a bok about how an ordinary (if slightly naughty) dog can become such a part of family life.........the bit where his wife say she misses Marley "aches inside missing him" ....i think we all know how that feels after losing a much loved pet...they are indeed 'one of the family'

I gave it 5 I think it was mediocre and overpriced. I was quite shocked to have to pay £11.99 for it, but it was at the airport.

Just to add that i found his website (just typed Marley & Me into yahoo..came up at the top of the list), if you go to the question and answer section, he explains why the book is about the family and Marley. Also he explains as to why they did not get the dog 'Lucky' from the rescue centre.

There are also photos of Marley, but did't stop to look as i'm at work at the mo so will have a look tonight
