Stars licking his shaved leg

As some may know star had his leg shaved last week to have blood taken and unlike other times he is constantly licking it to the point where its red raw, I was wondering if anyone had any tips to stop this, like anything we can put on it that if he licks wont harm him.

We used a sock with a bobble/hair clasp/whatever you call it around it.

you could sprinkle some antiseptic powder or Thornit on it ?

You could try putting some chew deterrant spray on the leg. A long time ago one of ours had the same issue and I tried a sock, however they could get it off and I was worried about them eating it. Ours vets now don't shave unless they have to.
