Dog owner caught on CCTV hurling defenceless puppy 13ft down a street.

I'm not sure if this is already on, but I saw this in the sun yesterday and was sickened by it.

A thug caught on camera hurling his defenceless puppy 13ft down a street has been banned from keeping animals for five years.
Ashley Rowbotham, 23, launched his seven-month-old Staffordshire bull terrier into the air by its lead, sending the terrified animal crashing down the road.
The tiny dog rolled over several times before skidding to a halt along the ground, Lyndhurst Magistrates’ Court in Hampshire heard.
An appalled passer-by called police who tracked down CCTV footage of the incident.

Not long enough IMO, poor little girl.

Poor little girl some one should throw him that distance and see if he likes it

At least the dog is now being looked after as she should and stands a good chance of getting a new home thanks to the publicitiy. Maybe some of the other staffies at the shelter too.

Absoultley disgusting!!!

How anyone can do that to a puppy or any dog for that matter should be hurled down the street themselves and see how they like it.

Sickening and evil to say the least, until harsher punishment/sentencing is brought in, incidents like this will continue to happen

This is why children's education programmes are so important. If we can teach children from a young age who to love, care for and respect animals this kind of thing will become quite rare.

A happy ending for the dog though, which is pleasing to hear.
