My oh tried them ,He had them only taking them for a few days ,And they made him feel quite poorly turned out he was allergic to something in them , But I hope they work for you Jackie , I have never tried anything to help me quit, I gave up a long time ago for 13 weeks after general anaestetic, Then foolishly started agin, Until 14 days ago when I had surgery again and I have not smoked for 14 days so hopefully this time I will remain a non smoker ,So I wish you the very best of luck hun, As I know only to well how hard it is to kick the habit , The cravens are hell Argh xxdk

It was patches for me too - free from my GP. I've been fag free for 3 years 5 months almost.
Having said that, I could light one tomorrow - I just don't!

Good luck Jackie xxx

i found the worst of the craves where on the first 10 days.
and one side effect they dont warn u is when your body de-toxes its self. dont go too far from a loo. it was horrible. but to realise that was in your body. horrifying.

i used to smoke 20-30 fags a day, over ten years, started champix last july, was off ciggies by september, still off them, found it quite easy!they take away the cravings, soon the time between each craving gets longer and longer til you fnd you havent thought of having a smoke all day!i bought one of those crave away false cigarettes on e bay,it helped a lot, gave my hands somethin to do,good luck stick with it,you will have good and bad days, you may feel sick at first but honestly it does pass, still cant believe i quit!!good luck xxxx
