bones

im really crap when it comes to finding useful 'tools' for things. Whats the best thing to use to grind up bones from meat? i want to feed indie raw again but she wont eat bones. So what is strong enough to do this?

You can actually buy 'bone grinders'.
Not sure what else would be strong enough to do them!

You can buy meats ready minced that contain bone.Although mine eat bones they still get minnced chicken and minced lamb which are made from the meat and bones

well landywoods sell meat thats minced with the bone, but require that u buy in 18lb boxes. Dont think it wud fit into the freezer

erm, chicken wings, legs, lamb ribs, rabbit. she jus sticks her nose up, but she will eat the same meat off the bone

Fussy madam!If you really want to get her to eat bones you can do the same as you would to enciourage a poor eater to eat.Offer her the bones and then f she doesn't eat remove them after 5 mins and offer nothing till the next meal....and so on
You will find that once they get the idea that its edible they soon get the hang of it and never look back.My 2 that started on raw as adults were reluctant at first .....used to carry it round by the tip of the bone and look most confused...now I'm lucky if it leaves my fingers before its getting crunched! I would keep trying the chicken wings or carcasses until she gets the idea since they are the easiest to chew.
